For a blanket width of 50 inches (127 cm), I cast on 40 loops. The length of the blanket after 54 rows is 60 in (152 cm). The diameter of the chunky chenille yarn I use is 0.79 in (2 cm).

In the instructions, I do not indicate the amount of yarn, as the consumption will be different due to the use of yarn of other brands and each knitter forms a different length of loops.
